Refine People searches by location and recent engagement

Overview

Stardex uses location as a ranking signal (priority), not a hard filter. You can also exclude profiles you contacted recently using the Last Engagement filter.

How location works

• Location prioritizes profiles in the selected area (for example, NYC) but does not completely remove results outside that area.
• There isn’t currently a toggle to restrict results strictly to a single location.
• Workaround: after running a search, manually filter the results by location to narrow them down further.

Exclude recently contacted profiles

• Open the People filter sidebar.
• Find the Last Engagement filter.
• Select Not engaged within the last 30 days to exclude anyone you reached out to in that window.

Tips

• Combine the Last Engagement filter with other filters to keep outreach lists clean.
• Use manual location filtering after a search to fully narrow results by area until a strict location toggle is available.
